About our cameras

Film photography in the Hutt Valley

Your destination for film photography in The Hutt Valley and the greater Wellington region.

At Camera House NZ, we specialize in second-hand film cameras - from classic 35mm SLRs and rangefinders to compact point-and-shoots and medium format systems. Every used camera we sell has been thoroughly film-tested to ensure it works properly, and comes with our 2-month warranty for peace of mind.

We're passionate about making film photography accessible and affordable. Whether you're just starting your film journey with a simple point-and-shoot, or you're a seasoned photographer hunting for that perfect vintage rangefinder or classic SLR, we've got you covered.

Beyond second-hand, we also stock new and exciting cameras whenever we can get our hands on them. From the latest Lomography releases to reloadable alternatives to disposable cameras, we love bringing fresh options to the film photography community. If there's something interesting happening in the film world, we want to have it on our shelves!

Browse our ever-changing selection online or visit us in store at 77 Queens Drive, Lower Hutt. Every camera has a story - let's find yours!
All used cameras are film-tested and come with a 2-month warranty

Bought right

Every used camera gets a roll through it.

A second-hand camera that has not been tested is a guess. Ours go through a roll of film before they go on the shelf, and come with two months of warranty behind them.
