Warranty: 2 Months from purchase

All second-hand film cameras sold at Camera House NZ come with a 2 month warranty when they've been film tested by us.

Our 2 month warranty covers mechanical and electronic failures that occur during normal use. If something goes wrong with your camera during this period, bring it back and we'll sort it out.

This warranty reflects our confidence in the cameras we sell and our commitment to getting you out shooting with reliable equipment. We've been in the photography business since 1953, and we stand behind the gear we sell.

Guarantee: Film Tested

We put a roll of film through each camera to verify that the shutter, film advance, and light meter (where fitted) are working correctly. This real-world testing ensures you're getting a camera that's ready to shoot, not just one that looks good on the shelf.

Founded in Japan in 1919, Olympus has grown from a domestic microscope manufacturer into a major multinational optics corporation. The brand introduced its first camera in 1936, and went on to pioneer compact camera design — most notably with the iconic Pen series of compact cameras and innovations that consistently pushed the boundaries of size and portability. Known for their precision engineering and renowned Zuiko lenses, Olympus cameras have long been a favourite among photographers who value quality imagery in a compact, well-built package.
