Shipping policy
We ship from our shop at 77 Queens Drive, Lower Hutt.
Where we deliver
We deliver within New Zealand only. If you are overseas and want something from us, email shop@camerahousenz.com and we will see what we can arrange.
You are also welcome to collect any order from the shop instead of having it sent. Choose local pickup at checkout if you would rather come in.
What delivery costs
Shipping is charged by the kind of item you are ordering, not by weight:

Film developing is returned to you at no charge. If you would like your negatives sent back as well, add that option to your order.
If your order contains items from more than one of these groups, the delivery charge shown at checkout may combine the rates. The exact amount is always shown before you pay — nothing is added afterwards.
Digital orders
Some of what we sell is not posted at all. Digital passport and visa photos are emailed to you as a file, and the UK ePassport service is supplied as a code for your online application. These have no delivery charge.
In-store services
Film developing, printing, custom framing, passport photos and darkroom hire all happen at the shop. If you have paid online for something we carry out in store, we will contact you when it is ready.
When your order goes out
We aim to send orders within one to two working days. Orders placed on a weekend or public holiday are dealt with the next working day. If something you have ordered is not in stock or will take longer than that, we will email you rather than leave you waiting.
Second-hand cameras are one-off items. Occasionally one sells in the shop at the same time as it sells online — if that happens we will contact you straight away and refund you in full.
If something arrives damaged
Please check your parcel when it arrives and contact us as soon as you can if anything is damaged, missing or not what you ordered. Email shop@camerahousenz.com with your order number and a photo of the problem and we will put it right. Our full returns terms are in our Refund Policy.
