A smarter design than most late-80s compacts. Rather than a slow zoom, the TF-900 carries two separate lenses — a fast 35mm f/2.8 and a 70mm f/5.6 — and switches between them with a button on the top plate. The result is noticeably sharper than zoom compacts of the same era, and that f/2.8 wide end is genuinely useful indoors and after dark. Autofocus, pop-up flash, self-timer and a proper info LCD up top. Tested and working.
