The Olympus AF-1 (sold as the Infinity in some markets) was a genuinely important camera - one of the first weatherproof autofocus compacts, with a distinctive rounded, sealed body that shrugs off rain and splashes. But the real draw is that fast 35mm f/2.8 lens - noticeably brighter and sharper than most compacts of the era, which has earned the AF-1 a real cult following among film shooters chasing quality results in a pocketable package.
