Olympus AF-1 Twin
Olympus AF-1 Twin
Two real lenses rather than a zoom — a sharp 35mm f/3.5 and a 70mm tele, switched with a button. Autofocus, auto wind, dead easy to use. This one has a cracked flash cover: the flash works fine, but don’t count on the weather sealing any more. Date back isn’t responding either, which matters little since it only counts to 2019.
- Twin lens: 35mm f/3.5 and 70mm f/6.3
- Autofocus, auto wind and rewind, self-timer
- Cracked flash cover — flash works, weather sealing not guaranteed
- Date back not functioning
- Runs on 2x CR123A batteries

About the brand
Camera House NZ
Olympus was a Japanese optics and camera company founded in 1919, well known for its compact film and digital cameras and its Micro Four Thirds mirrorless OM-D and PEN series. In 2021 Olympus sold its camera and audio business to investment fund JIP, which continues the range under the OM System brand, while Olympus itself now focuses on medical and scientific equipment.
