Nikkormat FT3 with Nikkor 50mm f/2 Lens

Nikkormat FT3 with Nikkor 50mm f/2 Lens

Out of stock

The final and most refined Nikkormat - a tank-tough mechanical SLR from 1977, paired with a classic standard prime.

Key specs:

  • All-mechanical operation
  • Nikkor 50mm f/2 standard lens
  • Nikon F mount with AI metering coupling
  • Copal Square vertical metal shutter (1–1/1000s + B)
  • TTL centre-weighted metering
  • Uses a modern 1.5V silver-oxide battery (SR44)

The FT3 was the last of the line and the pick of the bunch - it brought AI (Automatic Indexing) metering to the Nikkormat, so AI lenses couple instantly just by mounting them. Like its siblings it's built like a vault: heavy, all-metal, and famously reliable, with the distinctive shutter-speed ring around the lens mount. Fully mechanical, so it shoots without a battery (the cell only powers the meter).
