Canon PowerShot A470 — Red
Canon PowerShot A470 — Red
A proper 2008 digicam in bright red, which is half the appeal — these are exactly the cameras the point-and-shoot revival is built on. The 7.1MP CCD gives you that slightly crunchy, flash-lit look straight out of camera, and the chunky little body is easy to hold and hard to break. Best of all it runs on AA batteries, so there’s no obsolete proprietary cell to chase down — just be aware that cameras of this era are hungry. Standard alkalines will be flat before you know it. Lithium AAs or good quality rechargeables (Eneloops or similar) will get you far more shots and work out cheaper fast.
- 7.1MP CCD sensor, 3.4x optical zoom (38-130mm equivalent)
- Red body
- Runs on 2x AA batteries — lithium or quality rechargeables strongly recommended over alkalines
- Takes SD cards (2GB Included)
- Tested and working — 2 month warranty
